NOWPDP Trainee

I’m currently doing my Inter and taking a graphic designing course at NOWPDP.  I got to know about these courses through NOWPDP’s Facebook video where Sir Osama was explaining the initiative to us through sign language. I got very excited to see that such places exist that give people with disabilities a chance to survive in society. Without another thought, I enrolled in the graphic designing classes.

I generally do not have a problem with communication; I can manage through gestures, written communication, or even video calling Sir Osama! But if there is one thing I would like to share with regards to the deaf community, it is that people make a lot of fun of us. They laugh at our hand gestures and think we are making jokes. They tend to forget that we are humans and this is our way of communication. I wish that would stop, so we can be treated as equal members of society and no one has to feel bad.
