Stitching a Path to Empowerment

Shazia, 47, a wheelchair user, has never let her disability define her potential. In December 2024, she completed an intensive industrial stitching training program at NOWPDP and right after her graduation, her craftsmanship quickly caught the attention of a textile unit, where she delivered high-quality products that reflected her dedication, precision, and work ethic. She has showcased her products at major public events like WOW Festival and Mashion Bazaar.

For Shazia, stitching is both livelihood and self-expression. She believes disability is not a limitation but resilience and mindset. Beyond financial independence, her mission is to challenge misconceptions, prove the abilities of persons with disabilities, and inspire others to see talent beyond disability.
